After a fairly smooth passage to Scotland Bethamar is now moored at Inverness ready for the next stage of her adventure and who should be moored next to her but Josephine another regular visitor to HMS. It’s so nice to see our customers making the most of their beautiful boats. They were also fortunate to have a wonderful dolphin encounter on their passage.

Bethamar Update July 2021:

With the transom repair completed, a new sail and a host of other jobs completed by the team Bethamar was ready to set sail for Scotland for a summer cruise. Phil enlisted the help of Howard (owner of Maimonde as crew for the passage) the two look relaxed as they planned the journey and what they would need to take including fuel and provisions! With a perfect weather window they set sail. They are well on the way and looking like they are thoroughly enjoying the trip.

Bethamar Update June 2021:

With the transom repair completed and the new cutlass bearings, anodes and newly mounted A brackets she was launched today. We are just waiting for the sign writers to put the name back on her transom.

Bethamar Update May 2021:

Bethamar has returned for some maintenance works and in the process we have discovered the transom has quite a lot of rot and needs replacing, a previous repair has been carried out but now the rot is too bad and it all needs replacing. This is where the heavy davits are attached. Here we see the rotten wood which has been removed and Paul has now made a template for the new transom, next he can prepare and shape the new piece of timber.
